Downtown: Southwest Quadrant History Walk Sat. May 19

Downtown Mansfield Inc. and Just Walk Richland collaborate in presenting the first of four DMI Walks scheduled so far this season. It steps off from the Central Park Gazebo at 10am on Saturday, May 19.

This first walk will explore the southwest quadrant of of the oldest part of the city, including a stop at the Ritter Run underground entrance, the old Charles Sherman Addition, Ritter Houses and some new/old Mansfield history. Alan Wigton is the walk leader and will provide some historical footnotes along the way, although the emphasis is on getting some healthful walking exercise and exploring on foot some parts of the city that we don’t ordinarily experience.
